A monday’s text.
Fudgesickles. I deleted the original text, but if my memory serve me right…
“Hey I wanted to let you know that I love you guys and that I am proud to call you my brothers.”
I received this text from one of our fellow brothers two days back. I can’t explain why, but it really encouraged me a lot. Beyond all the sentimental value and the mushy-mushy stuff, that little message spoke to me so much because it reminded me that we are not alone. That even in this world that despises us and calls us foolish for following Christ, we can find comfort to know that there are brothers and sisters who fight along side us. Brothers and sisters who are willing to pick up the cross every morning and face the day with confidence that He will provide. Brothers and sisters who we can lean upon to guide us when we lose sight of WHY we chose the narrow path.
To all of you who feel that have grown distant (either physically or spiritually), I just wanted to remind you of a simple truth. You are not alone.
